The main event of the steam year The Minkiö Steam Festival, like all other summer events at Jokioinen Museum Railway, will be cancelled in the summer of 2020, because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

We hope we could otrganize the Steam Festivals again in the summer of 2021. Follow our news and information on this and other events. We also hope to be able to start small-scale museum train traffic in July 2020.

The Minkiö Steam Festival attarcted more than 1200 visitors within two days on the 27th and 28th of June 2019, despite of extermely hot weather. Old steam trains, stationary steam engines and farming machines were the stars of this years Steam Festival.
